Web Page Layout

We have learned that most Web Pages depend on tables instead of basic HTML for there layout and design so here are a few sites that show some good layout.

This first Site is very simple and you can distinctly see the symmetrical columns that make up the layout of this site.

This next site has six columns through out the length of it and they are symmetrical but when you get to the script the two center columns are merged together. It is a simple yet nice looking design.

Here is a little bit different layout. It has quite a few different but almost the same sized shapes. The section that is the biggest is at the top which draws your eyes to what the site is about. So this would be an asymmetrical layout.

Here is a site that has a wide column to the left and a narrow one to the right which is possibly a merging of four columns on the left and two on the right. I am not sure what I think of this one because there is nothing to balance it and it just looks odd.

This final site has more columns. It has one over the top and then down the right side for a border. The body of the page is made up of four symmetrical columns. The top and the side border are the same as each other but not the same as the columns in the body of the page.
